The Proper Way to Re-Sheath A Flood House

Did you know March and April tend to be the wettest months in Texas?  This coupled with the fact that hurricane season is less than two months away – there’s a lot of potential for flooded property.

While we may not have the devastation that we saw with Hurricane Harvey in Houston, it is still imperative that we prepare for anything.

Here at Fast Track, we have worked on our fair share of flood homes, including from Harvey.  When rehabbing flooded properties, it is important to not only do a walkthrough, but to pinpoint specific areas that need to be addressed.

For example, oftentimes sheathing must be replaced or put in otherwise the house will suffer continued water damage.  At Fast Track we use T-Play to ensure stability and additional support.
